Foreword and acknowledgements

The 2007 edition of “International Trade Statistics” includes significant changes in the design and content of the publication. The new “International Trade Statistics” provides a more user-friendly presentation of statistical tables, and covers new fields, in particular to satisfy the increasing demand for data on international trade in services. Throughout the publication users are guided by highlighted messages and reference material, including explanations on the data in relation to definitions, methodology, and so on.
