“Trade Policy Reviews” analyse the trade policies and practices of each member of the WTO. The reviews consist of three parts: an independent report by the WTO Secretariat, a report by the government, and the concluding remarks by the Chair of the WTO’s Trade Policy Review Body. The opening section - “key trade facts” - provides a visual overview of the WTO member’s major exports/imports, main export destinations, origins for its imports and other key data. This edition looks into the trade practices of Benin, Burkina Faso and Mali.

L’Accord sur les obstacles techniques au commerce (OTC) vise à faire en sorte que les règlements, les normes et les procédures d’essai et de certification appliqués par les Membres de l’OMC ne créent pas d’obstacles non nécessaires au commerce. Le Comité des obstacles techniques au commerce de l’OMC procède à un examen annuel de la mise en oeuvre de l’Accord OTC. Les renseignements contenus dans la présente brochure sont basés sur l’examen de 2020.

The Annual report of the WTO focuses on the regular activities of the organization, the details of its current structure, staff and budget. The Annual report is published in the first half of each year.

El 1º de enero de 2008 el sistema multilateral de comercio cumplió 60 años. El Informe sobre el Comercio Mundial 2007 celebra este acontecimiento con un examen en profundidad del Acuerdo General sobre Aranceles Aduaneros y Comercio (GATT) y su sucesora, la Organización Mundial del Comercio: sus orígenes, sus logros, los desafíos con que se ha enfrentado y lo que puede depararle el futuro.

Compiled and analyzed by the WTO’s economists and statisticians, the figures provide comprehensive, comparable and up-to-date statistics on trade in merchandise and commercial services for an assessment of world trade flows by country, region and main product group or service category. Some 240 tables and charts depict trade developments from various perspectives and provide a number of long-term time series as additional information.

The WTO's dispute settlement system follows a detailed timetable for examining cases brought to the WTO. The first stage is examination of the case by a group of three panellists who are specially selected for the case. Their findings are published in a report which may be appealed by the members concerned.
